We have a general dictionary from Merriam Webster that you can use to do a wild card search or a "sounds like" search. There is a medical dictionary from Spellex. We also have a legal dictionary from Law.com - an excellent research site with hundreds of terms and definitions to go along with them. And we also have OneLook that searches databases and websites for you. Just click on the link and it will automatically drop you down to where you want to go. And when you do a search, it will open a new window, so all you have to do is "X" out of that new window and this one will still be there.
Merriam-Webster Online - The WWWebster Dictionary. With this dictionary, you can do "sounds like" searches and wild card searches. Try putting in a word you know how to spell, but misspelled, i.e., kantaleevur, and see what happens. Excellent resource!!!
HINTS: Adding wild cards expands the search. (* = any number of characters and ? = exactly one character). For example, "tomo*ow," "tomo??ow" or "tomor*" will find "tomorrow."
